Galaxy S4 MoDaCo Switch Indiegogo campaign quickly reaches its fundraising goal
Over £1,000 raised on Indiegogo with 17 campaign days still remaining
After initially being announced only for the HTC One, an Indiegogo fundraising campaign was started to bring support for the MoDaCo Switch to the Samsung Galaxy S4. The MoDaCo Switch will enable one set of user data and apps to be shared by two different versions of the Android operating system: the Samsung TouchWiz version of Jelly Bean, and the "Google Edition" version of Android Jelly Bean. This allows one phone to switch back and forth between software versions, making changes to one side (like installing apps) that are also reflected on the other.
A goal of £1,000 was set on Indiegogo to bring the Switch to the Samsung Galaxy S4, which was exceeded with over two weeks still left in the campaign. The following update was given in response to the donators' support:
Thanks to everyone who has pledged so far, you're all awesome and it's fantastic we've hit the target already. I'm not setting stretch goals per se, but all subsequent donations help get us towards the ultimate goal of making Switch available for all ROM developers to use and thereby all devices. Switch is for you - Android fans. :-)

Panasonic KX-PRX120 offers Ice Cream Sandwich on a cordless phone
It's easy to lose perspective on such things living in a city like New York, but people do indeed still have landlines at home. And really, in a world so dominated by the smartphone, why not get one that sort of splits the difference between the two? Granted, the Panasonic KX-PRX120 has the kind of specs that would make us shake our collective heads were it positioned as a standard handset, but as far as cordless phones go, it's, well, certainly more exciting than what most people having sitting on their kitchen counters. The phone has a 3.5-inch TFT touchscreen display, a microSD slot, a WIFI / Bluetooth interface and an optional answering machine. The device runs Android 4.0 and gives you access to the Google Play store, so you can use it to Skype with help from its front-facing camera. The KX-PRX120 should run around £169 ($259).

BBC Three to launch new programs on iPlayer a week before they air on TV
The BBC might be a stalwart bastion of television broadcasting, but that's not stopping it from expanding its ventures into the wonderful world of online programming. Today, BBC Three announced that it would try its hand at digital-first content starting with the second series of Jack Whitehall's Bad Education. As more and more viewers turn to the internet for their TV-watching needs, the BBC has proven itself eager to keep up with demand, first by unveiling its plan to debut certain programs online in addition to producing iPlayer-exclusive dramas. iPlayer has long been one of the best ways to catch up on your favorite shows when you miss them on the air, but with this new development, the BBC seems interested in shifting the paradigm -- at least when it comes to a few select programs -- to favor online viewership.

US Airways finally gets an Android app
Attention frequent flyers: US Airways finally has an Android app. (We'll pause as we let the cheers in Charlotte, N.C., subside. Everybody done? Good.)
The app hits all the buttons you'd expect. It ties into your Dividend Miles account. You can see your itineraries and check into flights, as well as access your boarding pass wallet. You can check on your flight status and book new flights, and you also can get terminal maps and check on clubs in whatever airport you're headed to. If you've lost a bag, you can check on that through the app as well.
All in all, not a bad app — though we're ignoring the horrible placement of the settings button, which really needs to be in a proper overflow menu. And while we're on the subject, the legacy overflow menu (seen here with the dots on the bottom right) doesn't even work on HTC devices. Fortunately, all that's tucked in there is a Home button, My trips, Flight status, check in and "more," all of which is available on that main screen anyway. So you won't be able to get to it universally throughout the app on an HTC device, but neither is it missing.
We've got a few more screen shots after the break, and you can download it at the link above.
